A Replacement of Headship

The New Testament is clear:

Jesus is the Head of the body.
Jesus is the Chief Shepherd.

But within the structure that developed, something else took His place in practice.

The rise of the “Lead Pastor.”

This may sound harmless.

But functionally, it is not.

Because in reality, this role becomes:

The central voice
The directional authority
The one everything flows through

And no matter what is said—

this position functions as the head.

When Christ is not practically leading someone else is.
