body

We are a body.

Jesus is the Head, and we are His people—joined together, each one necessary and each one designed to function. A body is not a body without a head, and it is not whole if its members are disconnected. In the same way, we are not meant to live independently, nor are we meant to function apart from Him. This means that church is not something we attend—it is something we are.
When we gather, we are not coming to watch a few people lead while others observe. We are coming together as a body that is actively connected to its Head and to one another. There is no competition for position, no pursuit of recognition, and no striving for control. Instead, there is shared submission. Together, we come under the leadership of Jesus—not trying to lead, but seeking to follow Him. We listen to Him, respond to Him, and allow His life to be expressed through us as we remain connected to Him and to one another.

Every member matters, and every person is vital. Each one has a role to play—not based on status or title, but as a living part of the body. And as we function this way, something begins to happen. Love becomes visible, unity becomes tangible, truth is lived out, and Jesus is revealed.

His life is not expressed through isolated individuals, nor is it manufactured through human-centered systems. It is made visible through a body that is alive, unified, and functioning together under its Head. Within this body, we serve one another, placing others’ needs above our own. We give, support, strengthen, and build one another up so that the whole body grows and matures.

This is how the world sees Him—not as an idea or a message alone, but as a living reality expressed through His people. Together, we reveal who He is.
