Confession

the outward and relational expression of what has taken place within. It is openly agreeing with God—not only about our sin as unfaithfulness against Him, but about who He is and who we now are in relationship to Him.

Confession is not a ritual—it is relational honesty and declared allegiance. It is speaking directly to God, acknowledging that we have been disloyal, and declaring that we now belong to Him.

In confession, we do not merely admit wrong—we declare ownership. We openly align ourselves with Jesus as Lord. We acknowledge that He has the right to lead us, define us, and direct our lives.

This confession is both personal and visible. To belong to Jesus is to be identified with Him—not only before God, but among His people. It brings us into a shared life where we walk openly, encourage one another, and live as a family marked by truth and love.

Confession is not what saves us—it is the natural expression of a heart that has truly turned and now trusts Him. It is the verbal and lived declaration:

“I am no longer my own. I belong to Him—and I now walk with His people.”
